The quilt that started it all...

My aunt (and favorite godmother) made us this amazing quilt. We can't wait for the baby to get to use it!!

Painting the Nursery

Today we took the first big step in the baby's room. We painted!! Well, actually Matt & I never touched a paintbrush. Our great friends Billy & Claire Cruz did the whole room. It looks amazing. The room is done in a soft green with a cream border and blue, green and soft orange polka dots. The whole idea and color scheme was Claire's doing. Billy & Claire are quite the painting team. We can't thank them enough for their day of work. We did what we could to help (i.e. hold the tape and bring drinks). We think Blueberry is going to love it...we certainly do!

Welcome to Baby Sand's blog!! Our friends Mike & Carol started a blog for their little girl Lola and we thought it was a great idea. Instead of sending emails all the time, we thought we would post pictures and video here. So please check back every so often for updates.
