This summer we have been lucky to go on many play dates with friends. We've had a great time at the park, splash pad and just hanging out.
Splash pad fun with Roman
Monkey business with Kate
Connor and Vivian
On one of our play dates, Connor had an accident and I had no spare clothes. Luckily, Annie Schwerha was there to lend an outfit (a size 12-18 month outfit that fit pretty well)
Ryan and I were able to go on a "date" recently to the movies and to lunch. It was nice to have some one on one time with him. We only stayed at the movie for about an hour but we still had fun!
Ryan is now officially potty trained!! It was a tough few weeks but everyone survived. As a special surprise, we took Ryan to the Cubs game. He had a great time and even used the bathroom at Wrigley (several times)! There would have been pictures but Connor had some stomach issues that took out a few rows of people (yikes).
Brotherly Love
Tball Trophy
Golfing fun with Kaylee & Alex
Cowboy day at school (more like "America's Most Wanted")
Today was Ryan's last basketball class and it was a parents vs. kids class. Luckily Matt was able to join us and him and Ryan played some mad one-on-one. At the end, each kid got a trophy. I thought Ryan would be more excited about it but he said it was for me instead.
We have been busy lately with potty training, sleep training, etc. Potty training is going much better than sleep training. In between all the work, we have managed to have some fun!!
We had twice the fun on Wednesday as both Connor and Ryan had doctor appointments (4 months and 3 year respectively). Ryan did a great job and did everything the doctor asked. Connor was equally as well behaved. I'm just thankful Ryan was not due for any shots...we would never get him back to the doctor.
