A few weeks ago, Ryan took part in his first photo session. He did a great job and the pictures turned out amazing. Katie DeSerf Zeller is the awesome photographer behind the photos. She is very talented and we were lucky to have her take Ryan's first official photographs. Here are just a few photos from the session.

Tummy Time
Here is a quick video of Ryan practicing his tummy time. He is getting better at it every day. He sometimes just puts his head down as though he is going to take a nap rather than try to lift his head.

New Aunt
Over the weekend, my brother Erik proposed to his girlfriend Carrie and now Ryan will have a new aunt!! We are so happy for both of them and can't wait to officially welcome Carrie into our crazy family!!
Natural Traveler
We have had a very busy couple of weeks. On Father's Day weekend, Ryan made his first trip to Hollowayville and Stillman Valley. Last weekend, he made his first trip to Dwight. He was really good everywhere we took him. He seems like a natural traveler which is good for us!! We can't believe he is already over a month old!!

First Bath
Ryan had his first sponge bath the other day...and hated it. He was not a fan of having his hair washed. I think he was mad we were messing with his faux hawk.

La Grange Park Shower
Over the weekend, Erin & Drew hosted a shower for us at their house in LaGrange Park. The party was on May 1st which also happened to be Matt's 30th birthday. Everyone had a great time!! We even managed to surprise Matt by having his family and my family show up unexpectedly to the shower. Thanks to everyone for coming out and a special thanks to Erin & Drew!! I wish we had pictures to post but pregnancy brain has affected my ability to remember anything!! So instead, here's some non-baby shower pictures.
Hollowayville Shower
Shower Number 2 was hosted by my aunts - Mary Jean, Patti & Lori. They did an amazing job with the food and decorations. They also had a candy bar with all different types of candy - they even put the candy in sand buckets :) We can't wait for Baby Sand to get here and meet all the amazing people in our lives.
