Waiting on summer...

We've been (somewhat) patiently waiting for summer.  The last few days have been great and we've been able to be outside.  However, the last few weeks have been spent mostly inside waiting for the cold and rain to pass.  We've spent a lot of time downstairs playing sports, running around and practicing sitting up.

7 months old!

Quinn turned 7 months old today!! She is working on sitting up but prefers to be rolling around on the floor.  She loves watching her brothers and they love trying to make her laugh.

Likes:  Snuggling, playing with her brothers, napping at home

Dislikes:  Napping at school

6 months old!!

Not to be left out of the excitement, Q turned 6 months old last weekend!  She remains an easy going, happy baby and we love her to pieces!

Updated with 6 month stats:

15 pounds 3 oz (30th percentile)
26 inches long (50th percentile)
Big noggin (87th percentile - her mom's head isn't big enough to remember the measurement)

What the skunk??

On Sunday, our house took a direct hit from a skunk and the fumes overwhelmed the entire house.  It was so bad that we had to have an "adventure" at a hotel until the smell cleared out.  Luckily, the kids thought it was awesome and we had tons of space (thank you Embassy Suites!!).  In fact, there were some tears when we checked out for good on Tuesday.  I guess getting to swim at night and having pizza will make going back home seem really lame!

We celebrated Connor's birthday with an Octonaut's themed bash.  Connor had a great time hanging out with his family and loved all his gifts!

It's hard to believe but Connor turned two years old today.  It seems like just yesterday we were heading to the hospital and welcoming our big bundle of joy.  Connor is the most laid back, easy going, loving little boy.  He is quick to give a smile and a hug and always is the first to say "bless you".  Connor loves copying his big brother and always wants to give Quinn a kiss.  He currently is obsessed with all things Monsters, Inc. and roars at people as a greeting.  He is talking more and more and knows things that amaze us.  We are so blessed to have this gentle giant in our lives.  He makes every day better.  We love you Connor!! Happy birthday!!

5 months old!

Quinn turned 5 months old yesterday...the same day her cousin Kate turned 4!  Quinn is rolling over now, sleeping through the night (mostly) and generally just keeping an eye on her brothers.

We broke out the bouncer recently to give Quinn a chance to do some playing.  Turns out, her brothers also wanted in on the fun.  Ironically, there are no pictures of Quinn trying out the bouncer.
